Clay/P.C.C Tile Mud System

Roof Tiles are designed mainly to keep out rain, and are traditionally made from locally available materials such as terracotta or slate. Modern materials such as concrete and plastic are also used and some clay tiles have a waterproof glaze.

Clay/PCC Tile Sandwich Layers:

    • 100mm*100mm chamfer
    • The whole tile will be grouted with 1:3 C:S mortar
    • Grade A+ Clay Tiles / P.C.C Tiles
    • Tiles will be fixed over compacted earth
    • 1″ Mud/Hay Mortar or C:S 1:4 mortar
    • 4″ to 6″ ava compacted earth
    • Polythene Sheet /PVC Geo Membrane
    • Insulation Layer (XPS / EPS)
    • Waterproofing Layers
    • Roof Slab
